Internet Trading Network Offers Distributors Opportunity to Increase Sales

YARDLEY, PA, December 15, 2005 - Activant announces the availability of Activant Turns version 3000 featuring integration with Trading Partner Connect.

Activant Trading Partner Connect, an Internet trading network for distributors, expedites sourcing, expands geographic reach, and streamlines transactions between distributors and manufacturers.

Streamlining processes between manufacturers/suppliers and distributors, Trading Partner Connect enables distributors to exchange data directly from their Turns solution. Distributors can see real-time availability information, receive order acknowledgments and invoices, and update pricing electronically, thus eliminating the need to re-key information. Manufacturers benefit from reduced supply chain costs, increased connectivity, and improved customer service.

  • Reduce dead stock by forming trading relationships with distributors who are actively selling stock that you have marked as inactive in your solution. Members choose what types of dead stock they would like to see and can view all distributors offering that particular product line.
