New Release Contains Fuel Surcharge and PDA Enhancements

YARDLEY, PA, November 13, 2006 - Today, Activant® announced the availability of Activant Stanpak version 8.02. Based on customer requests, the newest version of the UNIX-based enterprise software solution features enhancements to both the fuel surcharge and PDA functionality in Stanpak.

"Activant works closely with customers to develop the specific features they need," says Steve McLaughlin, senior vice president and general manager of the wholesale distribution group at Activant. "Stanpak version 8.02 includes new functionality designed to help our customers increase sales, improve customer service, and reduce costs."

New Features in Stanpak Version 8.02 Include:

• Fuel Surcharge Enhancement: Enhanced fuel surcharge functionality allows users to include taxes on each surcharge, manage pricing based on zip code, and apply a surcharge to multiple orders going to the same location at the same time.
• PDA Enhancements: Enhanced PDA functionality offers many new features, including the ability to display on-hand inventory, committed amounts, last quantity ordered, ship date, last purchase price, contact phone numbers, and customer AR information on the PDA. In addition, users have the ability to edit expiration dates for BCBI and Pricebook.
